Funtoosh has been produced and directed by the Anand brothers Dev Anand and Chetan Anand. With the star cast of Sheela Ramani, Dev Anand, K.N.Singh, Krishna Dhawan, and Bhagwan Sinha, the story of Ramlal is that he was brought to a mental asylum, where he called himself Funtoosh. While doctors discharged him thinking he would do better out in the world, Funtoosh was depressed by the cruel world outside. Karodilal saved him from killing himself and offered to give him for a week everything he had never had. That one week gone by, Funtoosh now wanted to live, but Karodilal wanted to kill him.
