A young girl belonging is married off to a rich landlord. Unable to part with her baby brother Raju, she takes him with her. Raju swears to his brother-in-law all his life. Years pass by and all is well with the family. However, clouds of trouble gather over them when a drama troupe comes to the village and the leading lady is smitten by the landlord. He too falls head over heels in love with her and very soon he sets her up as his mistress as she sets about acquiring his wealth ruthlessly.
